Moshe Ariel Ganelin's adaptations for organ of orchestral and piano music by various composers

The art of organ transcription as the most brilliant over-the-limit form of performance like nothing else allows Moshe Ariel Ganelin demonstrate both his technical skills as organ virsuoso and composer, given the symphonic nature of organ. Ganelin's interest is not limited to the music for symphonic orchestra, however, as he is constantly seeking to expand the organ repertoir, he is equally attracted to the music for solo instruments as piano, or violin. Ganelin is the first organist to adapt Alexander Mosolov's "Iron Foundry", Scriabin's "Poem of Ecstasy", Shostakovich's Leningrad Symphony, Tatarinova's "The Chonicles of Narnia". Along with those, he also performs Tchaikovsky's Sixth Symphony, "The Swan Lake", "The Nutcracker", Rimsky-Korsakov's "Three Wonders" and "The Flight of the Bumble-Bee", and many others. Amongst his most notable adaptations of piano music are Chopin's Etudes, Waltzes; Rachmaninoff's Etudes and Moment Musicaux; Beethoven's Sonatas.
